On Friday, April 25, 2025, at approximately 1:00 a.m., in the area of Lahser and Keeler, a white 2017 Audi A4, being driven by an unknown suspect, struck a silver 2005 Hyundai Tucson occupied by two females.

After the accident, the suspect fled the scene on foot. Medics pronounced the driver of the Hyundai deceased at the scene. The passenger was transported to a local hospital where she later succumbed to her injuries.
