On Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at approximately 1:30 p.m., the 37-year-old male victim and the suspect were involved in a verbal altercation inside of the gas station located in the 5000 block of Trumbull. The suspect then left the location, came back in, and fired shots, striking the victim and fled the scene.

Detectives also would like to speak to the person of interest who was inside of the location at the time of the incident.

The victim is being treated at a local hospital for his injury.
