On Saturday, August 17, 2024, at approximately 8:10 a.m., in the area of McClellan St. and E. Vernor Hwy., the suspect broke into a residence and stole tools. As he was exiting the location, he was confronted by a neighbor. The suspect sprayed the 72-year-old male victim in the face possibly mace and fled in a silver 4-door Ram truck.

Suspect is described as a male, slim build, wearing a black baseball cap with a yellow “P” on the front, blue surgical mask, black sweater with a red undershirt, dark pants, and dark shoes.

No one was home at the time of the incident.
