Arab & Chaldean Underrepresented Communities History Project
Detroit City Council’s Historic Designation Advisory Board (HDAB) has received a National Parks Service Underrepresented Communities (URC) grant to study, recognize, record, and share the histories of Detroit’s Arab and Chaldean communities. Detroit is the first city in the nation given a URC grant to study Arab and Chaldean history!
Please join HDAB on Tuesday, February 20, to learn more and help launch the Arab & Chaldean Underrepresented Communities History Project. HDAB needs YOUR help identifying people and places significant in Arab and Chaldean history in the city of Detroit.
All are welcome and encouraged to participate in this event!
