Public Health Week: April 3rd - 8th
Did you know that the first week in April is observed for Public Health Week?
Starting April 3rd through April 8th the Health Department will host this anticipated event at various locations and is collaborating with community partners, recreation centers and
Detroit Police Precincts to help Detroiters learn how to live healthy.
Public Health Week includes the following free general health screenings and activities:
- Blood pressure checks
- Glucose
- Cholesterol
- Kidney function
- HIV Testing
- CPR training
- Narcan training
- Distribution of STI kits
Additional services:
- Medicaid enrollment
- COVID-19 Vaccinations (Ages 5+)
- No appointment, ID or health insurance is required.
