Detroit’s Architecture Yesterday to Tomorrow - Historic Walking Tour

This walking tour will travel Detroit’s main street: Woodward Avenue. We will also walk over to Capitol Park to discuss the new construction and restoration work underway there. Please meet @ 1001 Woodward Ave - Detroit Design 139 Storefront

Free public tours of the Detroit Design 139 exhibit continue daily through Saturday, September 30 from 12-7pm; no rsvp required. The exhibit is part of a month-long celebration of design excellence in Detroit. The city has been awarded the first UNESCO City of Design designation in the United States, joining a worldwide network of cities committed to utilizing design as a driver for sustainable urban development, social inclusion, and cultural vibrancy.
