Are Other Languages Available for Non-English Speakers?

Is Smoking, Eating, or Drinking Allowed on the Bus?

No. Per Detroit Municipal Code Sections 58-4-2 (Smoking on Buses Prohibited) and 58-4-5 (Eating or Drinking on Buses Prohibited; Exceptions) it is against the law to smoke, eat, or drink on DDOT buses. Passengers who violate City codes may be subject to "a fine not exceeding five hundred dollars ($500.00) or imprisonment not exceeding ninety (90) days or both".

Can I Bring A Stroller or Shopping Cart on the Bus?

Yes. For safety reasons, remove children from strollers and collapse carts and strollers if it blocks the aisle.  

Does DDOT Have a Lost and Found?

Yes. If a passenger should leave any personal items on the bus and it is found by the driver, it will be kept by the driver until the end of the shift and returned to the terminals depending on the route. The Rosa Parks Transit Center is where multiple DDOT bus routes arrive and leave from downtown Detroit. It is located at 360 Michigan Ave. Detroit, MI 48224.
