Notice of Virtual Public Hearing

The Detroit Department of Transportation will also be hosting a virtual public hearing to take feedback regarding potential service changes effective June 29.

The proposed service changes may include minor changes such as:
• Midday frequency improvements
• Span improvements (earlier first trip and later last trip times)
• Minor schedule adjustments
• Addition of service days

 

Possible Routes with Potential Minor Changes:

1 – Vernor

  • Weekday: Day/evening frequency improved to every 25-30 minutes (from every 45 minutes). Minor changes to first/last trip times.
  • Saturday: Minor changes to first/last times. Trip times revised throughout the day; no major change to frequency.

2 – Michigan

  • Saturday: Day/evening frequency improved to every 30 minutes (from every 55 minutes). Minor changes to first/last times.

4 – Woodward

  • Saturday: Morning frequency improved to every 20 minutes (from every 30 minutes).

6 – Gratiot

  • Weekday: Midday frequency improved to every 15 minutes (from every 20 minutes).

9 – Jefferson

  • Weekday: Evening/night frequency improved to every 30 minutes (from every 60 minutes). Minor changes to first/last trip times.
  • Saturday: Trip times revised throughout the day (no major change to frequency). Minor changes to first/last trip times.
  • Sunday: Trip times revised throughout the day (no major change to frequency). Minor changes to first/last trip times.

13 – Conner

  • Weekday: Trip times revised throughout the day (no major change to frequency). Minor changes to first/last trip times. Evening service ends about one hour later.

15 – Chicago-Davison

  • Weekday: Morning service starts about one hour earlier. Evening service ends about one hour later.
  • Saturday: Trip times revised throughout the day (no major change to frequency). Minor changes to first/last trip times.
  • Sunday: Trip times revised throughout the day (no major change to frequency). Minor changes to first/last trip times.

27 – Joy

  • Weekday: Morning service starts about one hour earlier.
  • Saturday: Morning service starts about one hour earlier.

29 – Linwood

  • Weekday: Morning service starts about one hour earlier. Evening service ends about one hour later.

30 – Livernois

  • Weekday: Morning service starts about one hour earlier. Evening service ends about two hours later.
  • Saturday: Morning service starts about one hour earlier. Evening service ends about one hour later.

31 – Mack

  • Sunday: Morning service starts about one hour earlier.

32 – McNichols

  • Sunday: Morning service starts about one hour earlier. Evening service ends about one hour later.

39 – Puritan

  • Saturday: Trip times revised throughout the day (no major change to frequency). Evening service ends about one hour later.
  • Sunday: Trip times revised throughout the day (no major change to frequency).

40 – Russell

  • Saturday: Add new service, from approximately 7 a.m. to 8:45 p.m., every 70 minutes.
  • Sunday: Add new service, from approximately 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., every 70 minutes.

41 – Schaefer

  • Weekday: Morning service starts about one hour earlier.
  • Saturday: Morning service starts about one hour earlier.

43 – Schoolcraft

  • Sunday: Morning service starts about two hours earlier.

52 – Chene

  • Weekday: Morning services starts about one hour earlier. Evening service ends about one hour later.
  • Saturday: Evening service ends about one hour later.

54 – Wyoming

  • Weekday: Morning service starts about one hour earlier.

60 – Evergreen

  • Sunday: Morning service starts about one hour earlier.

67 – Cadillac-Harper

  • Weekday: Morning service starts about one hour earlier.
  • Saturday: Morning service starts about one hour earlier.

68 – Chalmers

  • Weekday: Trip times revised throughout the day (no major change to frequency). Minor changes to first/last trip times.
