The Detroit Local Emergency Planning Committee, in conjunction with Marathon, are hosting the 2026 Emergency Preparedness Fair on Saturday, June 13, from 11 am - 2 pm at Kemeny Recreation Center, 2260 S. Fort Street.

Learn about important preparedness information to keep your family and community safe. Participating agencies include Detroit Emergency Management and Homeland Security, Detroit Fire Department, Detroit Police Department, DTE, and more.

The free event will also include children's activities and free refreshments.
