Early this evening, four people were injured by gunfire in a drive-by shooting on Haverhill street. According to the Detroit Police Department, of the three adult victims, two have non-life-threatening injuries, but a young woman is in critical condition. Our thoughts are with her and her family at this difficult time as we pray for her recovery.

The youngest victim, who by the grace of God was not seriously injured, is a 10-year-old boy.

This senseless and indiscriminate violence should never reach a young child and will not be tolerated.
