TASK FORCE ON BLACK MALE ENGAGEMENT

Mission: To access individual and organizational resources committed to the exposure and development of Black Males.

Vision:To ensure that every Black male will be mentally, spiritually and emotionally accountable leaders of their families and communities

Detroit City Council Members James Tate and Andre Spivey by an official City Council Resolution initiated the Task Force on Black Male Engagement on December 18, 2013. It is now Chaired exclusively by Member Tate.
