Notice of Public Outreach: KIPP School Project 2

KIPP, a charter school system with a national presence, has applied to purchase 13141 Rosa Parks from the City of Detroit to establish a KIPP school in Detroit.  The parcel is 10.34 acres and is currently vacant land with a purchase price of $125,000.  KIPP intends to construct a K-12 educational campus on the parcel and seeks to enroll up to 1,300 students at full capacity.  The current project timeline includes opening the school in a temporary structure on this site in Fall 2022 and opening the first phase of this campus in Fall 2023.
