The Detroit Police Department is seeking information from the community regarding a fatal hit & run accident.

On Saturday, August 9, 2025, at approximately 9:52 p.m., in the area of Wyoming and Pembroke, a 37-year-old female and a 37-year-old male were crossing the street when a red Chevy sedan struck both victims. The unknown suspect stopped the vehicle, backed-up and fled the scene eastbound on Pembroke.

A few seconds later, a white Ford Explorer struck the female victim, and continued driving northbound on Wyoming.

The female victim was fatally injured. The male victim was not injured.
