Detroit Artist Apprenticeship Program (DAAP)

Inspired by the powerful idea that "the whole is greater than the sum of its parts," the Detroit Artist Apprenticeship Program (DAAP) is launched to connect experienced artists (mentors) with emerging artists (mentees). Think of it like the Motor City itself; individual components, when expertly assembled, create something far greater – a powerful machine ready to roll. 

DAAP aims to foster vital connections, spark exciting collaborations, and cultivate significant growth within Detroit's vibrant artistic community. Crucially, this educational and learning program relies on experienced mentors to guide emerging artists in further developing their existing skills and, importantly, in mastering the techniques of large-scale mural painting.
