Motor City Makeover 365 is a citywide cleanup and beautification initiative. Over the past 30 years MCM 365 has evolved, partnering with block clubs and associations on their efforts has become essential to the success of this initiative. Annually, thousands of volunteers across Detroit come together to clean and beautify neighborhoods, parks, playgrounds, and around businesses, schools, and places of worship. Motor City Makeover kick-off beautification and clean-up projects take place three Saturdays in May based on City Council Districts.

Register a Project
Rally your neighborhood association, block club, school, or team to take pride in your neighborhood and lead a beautification effort. Project link here

Youth T-Shirt Design Contest
New this year, the City is seeking teens/young adults (ages 14 – 24) to create impactful design/artwork promoting the message: Keep Detroit Clean. The winning design will be printed on T-shirts for distribution to volunteers at Motor City Makeover events. The deadline for submissions is April 22. Learn more here.
