Bagley Streetscape: New Art Sculptures

Detroit artist Elton Monroy Durán is adding life-size sculptures of “alebrijes” for the Bagley Street Mexicantown streetscape.  These fantastical creatures, inspired by traditional Mexican folk art, are crafted from car parts and celebrate the rich contributions of the Latino community to the Motor City.
