In spring 2024, the City of Detroit selected JFM Consulting Group as its evaluation partner for the Choice Neighborhoods Implementation (CNI) Grant: Greater Corktown Transformation Plan. Evaluation is one of the eligible activities outlined by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and may include resident and community surveys, data management, and tracking of key outcomes. Because HUD emphasizes both “residents” and “the community” as stakeholders, this evaluation is designed to capture the full scope of engagement and impact across the Greater Corktown area. This includes both the target site population who called Clement Kern Gardens (CKG) home on or after May 25, 2021, and the residents and stakeholders of the Historic and North Corktown neighborhoods.
