Neighborly Software is a third-party site the City of Detroit uses for its housing and community development grant/loan programs. To apply to an open application, complete the following steps:

1. Click https://portal.neighborlysoftware.com/CITYOFDETROITMI/Participant 
2. If it’s your first time accessing Neighborly, click Sign up now
3. Enter your email address and follow the steps to receive a verification code
4. Create a password
5. Login using your email address and newly created password
6. Scroll down to see the list of available programs
7. Find your desired program and click Start Application
