Brennan Pool has been a fixture of summertime fun in the Cody-Rouge Neighborhood for many years. The Brennan Pool House also offers dry land recreation programming including youth and adult crafts, games, and fitness lessons.
Brennan Pool is closed for construction until 2027.
Future Plans
A new 25,000+-square-foot facility is coming to Rouge Park. The new facility will sit adjacent to Brennan Pool and will serve a need in the Cody-Rouge neighborhood, a community that currently lacks indoor recreational facilities. Detroit Pistons owner Tom Gores' Family Foundation has committed $20 million to build this new community center in Rouge Park. The construction for the center is now scheduled for summer of 2026 to ensure that the Brennan Pool is open to the community come summer of 2027.
