In the 8100 block of Fenkell, the 25-year-old male victim was in his vehicle when an unknown suspect exited the rear passenger door of a light colored Ford Escape with dark colored passenger’s side front door and quarter panel and fired shots into the victim’s vehicle. The victim fled the scene and was followed by the suspect’s vehicle to the 7600 block of Desoto. The victim then attempted to flee on foot, but was followed by the unknown suspects, who fired shots, striking the victim. He was transported by medics to a local hospital and has since been released.
