Officers were on a traffic stop when a red Nissan Rouge drove by. One of the officers observed a firearm in the male driver’s left hand. The vehicle turned north onto Kentucky from W. McNichols and shots were fired at the officers. Suspect then fled the scene. No injuries were reported. The vehicle had an improper Michigan plate # ESP-0700 on it.
