On Friday, July 12, 2024, at approximately 9:34 a.m., in the 18100 block of W. 8 Mile Rd., the suspect attempted to purchase some items at the gas station with a counterfeit bill. The 23-year-old male victim (employee) advised the suspect he could not accept the money. The suspect then produced a gun, stated “don’t play with me” and fled the scene on foot.
