On Friday, December 27, 2024, at approximately 5:20 p.m., in the 14300 block of Harper, the female suspect, known as “Cheryl” took items from the dollar store without paying. As she attempted to leave, the suspect was approached by the 32-year-old female victim (employee) and was advised to put the items back. At that point, the suspect produced a box cutter and assaulted the victim, then fled the location on foot.

The victim was treated at scene for her injury.
