On Saturday, April 19, 2025, at approximately 1:20 a.m., in the area of Gratiot and E. Grand Blvd, two victims (female, 44 and male, 43), who were on a scooter, were struck by an unknown suspect driving a dark colored Jeep Wrangler.

The female victim was pronounced deceased at scene. The male victim was transported to a local hospital and is being treated for his injuries.

Detectives want to speak to the person-of-interest who was in the area at the time of the incident and may have information pertaining to this crime.
