How to request a Release of Lis Pendens

Step 1. E-mail [email protected]  to request an invoice and record ID number for a Lis Pendens. The fee is $73. Online payment accepted here.

Step 2. Provide a contact number, e-mail address, copy of the recorded Lis Pendens, and current recorded deed.

Step 3. Attach current photos showing the condition of the property (All four sides), and a return mailing address.

Step 4. The Lis Pendens will be mailed, once approved and any fee’s owed paid.
 

If the property is found to be ordered demolished, a Lis Pendens will NOT be released. Owner MUST complete the Deferral process.
