The City of Detroit leaders have announced they will implement a new Summer Teen Safety Violence Prevention Plan, including an increased police presence, to ensure citizens and visitors have a safe summer.

The plan includes:

• Increased Curfew enforcement / Parental responsibility
• Increased illegal block party enforcement / noise ordinance
• Increased drifting / drag racing enforcement hours
• Requested ordinance change for curfew/parental responsibility
