A big thank you to the UM Board of Regents for unanimously approving 300 new housing units in the heart of District Detroit, led by Chris Ilitch and Stephen Ross.

 

With 7,000 new residents moving in each year, Detroit must build 3,500 new homes annually to keep our growth inclusive and prevent displacement — and we’re doing it.

 

This latest milestone keeps that momentum going, and it’s proof of the University of Michigan’s deep, long-term commitment to our city.
