Mental Health Task Force
The goal of the Mental Health Task Force is to use the platform of Council to support the Mental Health space to better serve the citizens of District 2 and the City at large. Based upon our six-month timeframe to implement the Mental Health Task Force and the annual renewal of the testimonial, the initial goal will be to:
- Educate the citizens of Detroit on the state of Mental Health
- Heighten awareness of the mental health services currently available
- Support coordination of mental health services when possible
The Task Force will work to ensure that we are addressing the root (right) problem. The team will also prepare a written group consensus on what the problem actually is, and create a public list of strategic solutions.
