What Are Detroit’s Extreme Weather Issues?
In Detroit, we experience five extreme weather events. These events include: Heavy Rain, tornadoes, flooding, severe winter storms, extreme heat, and poor air quality. On average, we experience about 26 days of extreme weather and 10 days of poor air quality per year in Detroit.
