A faith-based principles organization, dedicated to helping at-risk youth rise above their environment and make life affirming choices by engaging them and their families in positive programming centered around the 3L model concept which is Leadership Development, Litracy Support, and Life Management Coaching.
Boll Family YMCA Metropolitan Detroit
At the "Y", children and teens learn values and positive behaviors, and explore their unique talents and interests.
The YMCA offers programs in childcare, basketball, gymnastics, swimming, summer camp, education, and recreation.
City of Detroit - Recreation Centers
Programs are available for a range of ages and activity level across the city.
Activities range from youth and senior computer labs to swimming, and many things in between.
Clark Park Coalition
Clark Park in Southwest Detroit provides year round programming for more than 1,200 youth.
It operates the only regulation-sized outdoor ice hockey rink in Metro Detroit.
Free lunch is provided daily to more than 100 youth throughout the summer.
In partnership with the Detroit Police Department and community volunteers, Detroit PAL builds character
in young people through athletes, coaches and parents.
Goal Detroit is a fall soccer league for Detroit elementary school students.
Mayor Mike Duggan, Detroit PAL and several public and charter elementary schools started the league in 2014.
