COVID-Safety Playbook

Everything you need to get back to programming in the parks

Beautiful weather means that our parks and public spaces will be busier than ever. Here are some resources to help you keep our public events safe, fun and respectful to all who share in our common spaces. (Information for indoor spaces is in development. Check Parks and Recreation for updates.)

PROGRAMMING SUPPORT PROCESS

Are you looking to program a park with over 25 participants? You'll need a permit. Before applying for a permit, read our reopening checklist in full. It will give you a sense of what you will need to prepare for a successful permit application. Our permits now include sign off from the Health Department. Follow this link  to see which type of form you need to complete. Still need help? Email [email protected] for assistance. In your email, please provide:

  • Your reopening plan
  • The type of Health Department support you need:
    • Safety + protocols training OR
    • 15-minute plan review teleconference
    • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (The Recreation Task Force will initiate that process.)
