Notice is hereby given that Detroit Department of Transportation (DDOT) has set it Disadvantaged Business Enterprise goal for projects utilizing the Federal Transit Administration’s (FTA) funds for the Federal Fiscal Year’s 2018-2020. The DBE goal is 6%. DDOT plans to meet this goal by using race neutral measures. The goal may be met by using any firm that has been DBE certified in the State of Michigan.
This goal was developed in accordance with the process described in U.S. DOTs 49 CFR Part 26 effective March 4, 1999, and DDOTs DBE Program. A description of how the goal was developed is available for public inspection between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM, Monday thru Friday at the address listed below. Comments regarding DDOTs DBE goal will be accepted until July 28, 2017.

It is the policy of DDOT to ensure that DBEs are afforded maximum practicable opportunities to participate in all of its procurement activities.
In accordance with the requirement of the U.S. Department of Transportation set forth in 49 CFR Part 26, notice is hereby given that the Detroit Department of Transportation (DDOT) has established an overall revised goal of 1.5% for Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) participation in contracting opportunities on federally-assisted contracts during Federal Fiscal Year 2016 and 2017.
The proposed goal and methodology will be available for review between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday at the address listed below for (30) days following the date of this notice.
The Detroit Department of Transportation will accept comments on the goal for (45) days from the date of this notice. Please address all comments to:
