Special Projects

The Special Projects Team builds new programs that align with the overall priorities of the Detroit Health Department. The team works to identify, plan and launch new programs. Each project in the team’s portfolio has been reviewed and approved by the Health Department’s Director. The team pursues funding opportunities to support these projects, working closely with the City’s Chief Development Officer and the Office of Grants Management to identify the best funding pursuits through philanthropies and State and Federal agencies.
