Safety and education campaign
“Detroit Rides” is a safety and education campaign created by the Planning & Development and Public Works Department's Bicycle and Pedestrian Safety and Education Work Group. Made up of 32 stakeholders, from City departments and local organizations, the work group created the campaign to increase bike ridership, update road users of new infrastructure and proper usage, and decrease bike and pedestrian injuries and fatalities in Detroit.
